Sterling Cadsteel 

Established in 2001, Sterling Cadsteel is a company engaged in the business of structural steel design and detailing. Our clients are steel fabricators executing projects primarily on the East Coast of the United States. We provide high-quality detailed fabrication drawings which are produced using Tekla software. These are complemented by signed & sealed engineering design calculations from licensed professional engineers.

We handle projects of all sizes. Our projects span from <100 tons to >1000 tons of steel. Our modeling, detailing and editing is all done using Tekla’s X-Steel software. We also produce CAD drawings when desired by our clients.

Our projects include various types of single and multi-story buildings and building complexes such as offices, schools, hospitals, stores, warehouses, nursing homes, churches and synagogues, transportation structures, parking garages, etc.

While we work primarily with structural steel, we also work on detailing miscellaneous items such as stairs, ladders, railings, etc.

We also detail steel supports required for timber structures/trusses.
